The prize will be given to the best student real estate lawyer in the second year of a Master’s degree.
It is awarded following a competitive exam each year by a panel of professional real estate lawyers. The prize is jointly organised by CMS Francis Lefebvre Avocats, Juridim and Office Notarial Michelez Notaires.
The prize is open to all students in the second year of a Master’s degree in Real Estate Law (Droit Immobilier) or in the second year of a Master’s degree in Notarial Law (Droit Notarial). Each year, a sponsor, a well-known figure in the real estate industry, awards the prize.
The prize is awarded to three students. All applicants who have completed the oral test are offered a personal coaching session with a consultant from the recruitment firm FedLegal.
The three top applicants also benefit from highly valuable connections with the organisers (CMS Francis Lefebvre Avocats, Michelez Notaires and Juridim) and are invited to meet their representatives at various events.
The 2019 MEJI prize will be awarded at a cocktail reception with over 150 academics and professionals from the real estate sector on Thursday, 11 April 2019.
